At the tram stop, a stray dog leaped onto a young woman and delivered a white envelope it had been holding in its mouth. When she opened it, she was totally shocked by what was inside.
Emma felt bewildered. She looked around hoping someone would clarify the situation. But everyone simply stared — equally astonished as she was. The dog whined gently but held onto the envelope. Its body shook, its paws gripped her coat a bit tighter, as if scared of being overlooked once more. Emma gradually extended her hand. Her fingers shook. She nearly grabbed the envelope… but then paused. Inside, she felt a weird anxiety build. Her mind grew confused. What if this is a prank? What if there’s something risky inside? What if something harmful occurs? She stepped back. The dog made a soft, aching noise. This time it was different — more aching, more urgent. It put its paws on Emma’s legs again, but firmer, more persistent, as if it knew it was missing its last opportunity. And right then, an elderly woman rose from the bench.
She walked over slowly, examined the dog closely, then Emma, and said calmly:
— Take it. Animals are never wrong. They always find the right person.

Emma paused for a moment… and then finally accepted the envelope. She opened it. And in that instant, her expression altered. She was in total shock from what she discovered inside. The continuation of the story can be found in the first comment. Inside was a note with just one phrase:
— Help me…
