Instructions:
- Prepare the Liver: Rinse the liver slices under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels. If you prefer, you can lightly dust them with flour for a crispier texture when fried.
- Cook the Onions: In a large skillet, heat olive oil or butter over medium heat. Add the sliced onions and sauté until they become soft and caramelized, about 10-12 minutes. Remove the onions from the skillet and set aside.
- Fry the Liver: In the same skillet, add a little more oil if needed. Increase the heat to medium-high and add the liver slices. Fry the liver for about 3-4 minutes on each side, until browned and cooked through. Be careful not to overcook the liver, as it can become tough.
