Instructions:

  1. Preheat Oven: Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. Make the Crust: In a bowl, combine the cake mix, melted butter, and 1 egg. Mix until a thick dough forms. Press evenly into the bottom of the prepared dish.
  3. Make the Topping: In another bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth. Add the eggs, vanilla, and melted butter. Mix until combined. Gradually add the powdered sugar and beat until smooth.
  4. Assemble and Bake: Pour the cream cheese mixture over the crust and spread evenly. Bake for 40-45 minutes. The center should still be slightly gooey.
  5. Cool and Serve: Allow to cool completely before slicing. The cake will set as it cools. Optionally dust with extra powdered sugar before serving.
